Like all independent schools, The Laurel School of Princeton relies on philanthropic donations from parents, alumni, alumni parents, faculty and staff, foundations and friends in three major areas:
Annual Operating Support
A portion of the Laurel School budget is not covered by tuition and auxiliary income. The “gap” must be bridged through philanthropic support of our Annual Fund. The portion that must be made through annual philanthropic support is over $2,000 per student, per year. Annual Fund gifts are used to support every area of the operating budget, including academics, art and music programs, educational experts, faculty professional development, technology upgrades, and enhancements, and facility improvements. Gifts to the Annual Fund have an immediate impact and are spent within the fiscal year they are given.

The Laurel School Endowment Fund
This new fund will help ensure financial support for long-term needs. Funds will be invested to generate investment income. All funds are overseen by the Administration and the Board of Trustees. Donors may choose which philanthropic area they wish to support and are encouraged to begin their support of The Laurel School of Princeton through a gift to the Annual Fund.
The Laurel School is part of the Newgrange School of Princeton, Inc. family. We are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization. Donations and grants are a vital part of our organization. They are used to help support financial aid for students and the various programs of our school.
